Antigua Fonda is a bed and breakfast (and whole house rental) with 4 spacious double rooms in Alcalá de los Gazules - one of only a few towns on the famed White Village and ancient Bull routes. Alcalá is situated between Jerez de la Frontera and Algeciras and is a 40 minute drive from either Gibraltar or Jerez airports. The many fine and quiet beaches of the Costa de la Luz are equally easily accessible.



The original house dates from around 1826 and had a former life as both a bar and hostal - known as Fonda Espanola. We have converted the building into a family home for us and a bed and breakfast with four large guest bedrooms. The top floor contains a very large guest area which includes a large kitchen, breakfast area and TV lounge. There is also an outside area to enjoy the sunshine - or just relax in one of the two shaded areas, one of which contains an 8 person al fresco dining table - to make the most of those balmy summer evenings. Two of the bedrooms have twin beds whilst the other two have doubles. We have installed air conditioning in the outer bedrooms and in the guest area.
